The Sports League Coordinator plans, implements, directs, and monitors all functions of the assigned sports league(s) under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor.
Trains, supervises, assists scorekeepers, and officials.
May be responsible for scorekeeping, officiating and/or coaching as needed.
Makes recommendations for improvements, prepares fields for play, aids in clean up after league activities.
Work includes written and/or verbal reporting.
Responsible for minor conflict resolution amongst participates, coaches, spectators and staff.
Assist with general program promotion.
Schedules:
Youth Flag Football season runs late August through October.
Youth Basketball Season runs late November through mid-March.
Youth Futsal and Youth Indoor Soccer seasons run mid-December to early February.
Adult Soccer runs mid-November to early February.
Adult Volleyball runs mid-February through April.
Position Details Knowledge and experience of the sport(s) assigned is preferred.
Responsible for enforcing league and facility rules, policies and procedures.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Hourly rate is $17.
00/hour, and you will work up to approximately four (4) to twelve (12) hours per league per week.
Hiring is subject to pre-employment drug screening and background check.
