07/19/2023Job Summary Job DescriptionThe Ocean City Convention Center is hiring an Event Coordinator Assistant - Part-Time.
The Event Coordinator Assistant - Part-Time will assist with daily requests and functions of conventions and events, in the Convention Center.
Coordinates rental of equipment and services generated by exhibitor requests, within the booking software.
Responsible for collecting payments and maintaining records for exhibitor services.
Position DetailsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while providing excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be capable of multi-tasking, have computer skills, and be familiar with Microsoft Office or have the ability to operate and/or learn software programs.
Must have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Hourly rate is $16.
88, and you will work up to approximately thirty (30) hours per week.
Hiring is subject to pre-employment drug screening and background check.
